CRM can be done relatively quickly when going with a web-based solution in some cases as little as one month. However, customized approaches can take a long time to get set up. What is the startup price for CRM?
Some CRM programs have been known to set back large corporations in the tones of thousands or even several millions. For small and medium sized businesses, the cost can be more manageable, as you should only purchase the specific products you need. For example, a sales force automation package can be purchased by itself while other customers may choose a helpdesk or customer service options featuring call center and online support.
